Eure Fragen an Hasbro

Hasbro möchte allgemein schlechte Presse in Deutschland vermeiden.

Heyo! Nice to have you visit us! First step in the direction of international blaster wars taken ;) Are you using reddit? If not, definitely take a look at /r/nerf. A post there might get you some additional clicks!

@Ash: I will send you all incoming questions until Sunday OK? If you want to take the questions from here directly that's totally fine with me:)

Uhm I am pretty new to blogging, so SEO and Reddit I don't understand sadly :(

@cc-top: If you wish to collect the questions still, that would be great. :)

Many thanks to you all for the warm welcome, I want to wish you, your friends and family a happy, healthy and prosperous new year :)

The absolute dead line is Monday evening. I will have prepared the questions to flow well in my interview with Hasbro, and will be busy sorting other items too.

Gut dann hier meine Frage:

Well then here comes my question:
"Will Hasbro focus their attention more on Blaster with complex mechanisms, like the Rough Cut or Triad (or even more complex mechanisms), to keep their product more interesting in the future?"

I´am asking this, because I think many nerffans and modders are tired of seeing new blasters with the same standard mechanics in it. Many things that add to the idea of FoamSport for them, will be manufactured (especially in America) by the people themself. Therefore it sound pretty logic to go for blasters with more exotic and complicated mechanisms. Such airflow guiding ARs, like seen in the Rough Cut, are surely pretty complicated to build yourself, hence such blaster will keep interesting.

I believe you mean "are NOT fond of seeing new blasters with the same standard mechanics in [them]." At least that is what you said in German. I wouldn't usually correct you but it changes what you are trying to say to the opposite.

MyLastDart: Hello! Like others already said: It is nice to have international visitors. Also thank you for providing us with the opportunity to ask Nerf some questions.

I figured the three most aked questions are:

-How about accesories? Why can't we buy single shoulder stocks, drum mags, sights etc.? Is Hasbro planning on expanding their range of products here? Are there any accesories planned for the Dart Tag line at all? Since the Qucik 16 for example is missing a stock in general.

-Will we see a full-auto Elite Blaster soon? How about an Elite line 'Sniper'?

-What does Hasbro think about our (the modding-) community? Do they like what we do to their products or are they avoiding any contact for marketing reasons?

Hab ich was wichtiges übersehen?

Questions for Hasbro by the users of blasted.de

"Why are there no shoulder stocks that fit the paint-scheme of the white Vortex series? Will any be released?" - cc-top

"Will more accessories be available for purchase (without a blaster) in the future? I would gladly pay quite a bit of money in order to get the Nitron's 20 disc magazine or a better shoulder stock for my Praxis without actually having to buy a Nitron. There are so few accessories available that I keep wondering why every (new) blaster has tactical rails." - Zappes; quite a few people mentioned they are interested in that as well. I will not include every question of that nature. People seem to be most interested in buying the larger clips, but they also want red dots, scopes, shoulder stocks and barrel extensions.

"Is it possible for Hasbro to develop automatic blasters with a higher rate of fire?" - Aaron Maier

"Why are so many accessories not available in Germany?" - eddy

"Is there going to be an elite equivalent of the Stampede or another fully automatic blaster among the elite blasters?" - eddy

"How high are our chances for a Longshot overhaul in the Elite-Series? By overhaul I mean a blaster with the basic attributes of the Longshot but shell improvements like a better shoulder stock, more and better placed tactical rails and something more useful than the Longshot Frontgun." - apfelsaft

"Are the two sniper-like Nerf Blasters (Longshot and Longstrike) going to be re-released as Elite Blasters within 2013? If not, will they ever?" - roxsaw

"Are there any plans for a Nerf grenade? If so will there be a grenade launcher that could be installed under a barrel Extension?" - Naramag

"Why were so many of the new blasters released without shoulder stocks?" - Pyragonman

"I would like to know Nerf's opinion concerning the modding community. I know their official point of view is "Do not modify darts or dart blaster!". However, certainly they are aware of the numbers of their products that is being modified and the market that lies within the mod community (as this is a whole new demographic besides the original demographic of 6-14 year olds). In some forums you can read things like "[...] personally I believe Nerf is listening to us." when a newly released blaster is in some way easier to mod than a previous one. Is that true?" - hoellenhamster

"Are you working on banana clips?" - BIGBADBANG

"Are there going to be new Dart Tag Blasters and Dart Tag accessories that will fit the accessory-slots of the old ones (like the Quick16)?" - hotzenplotz
